Those three words are everything that Eleines is about.
Everything I do as a model and what we do in the band is about those three words.

I’m really grateful for being a part of Althemy from today, it’s an honor. So I thought that this first blogpost can be a little bit about what Eleine actually is so we get those things sorted out from the very beginning. ?

Eleine is not only an alternative model, but also a symphonic metal band.
Many people ask why and how, and it’s pretty simple. I started off a few years ago by myself, and with a contact I had on a record label. The CEO of this label wanted to do something with metal, and I’ve always wanted to have my own symphonic metal band that wasn’t supposed to be a regular kind of symphonic metal.

So, at the same time I started modeling and wrapping my head around what Eleine as a band would be like, I realized that both the modeling and the music went very well together. It wasn’t two separate things, they worked together. Giving the fans both beautiful gothic/alternative pictures, but also music and music videos I knew it would work. Even though people around me disagreed and said that I should create two different likepages on Facebook and so forth, I continued on my path. My modeling is all about seductive, style and monumental, as the band itself also is.

That’s why the band is named Eleine. It’s not because I’m the front figure, or I’m a solo artist with a couple of guys behind me or anything like that – we are Eleine, a symphonic metal band, and I Just happen to be the lady in front.
