In this post I thought I can show you more of the modeling part of my life.

I come from a very loving home, but I had a rough time in school. I was bullied from the very beginning to the very end. It was awful, as a result, I always compared myself to others from a very early age. And that’s one of the most dangerous things you could ever do to yourself – compare.

I won’t lie, I still find myself comparing myself to others and feel bad about one thing or another from time to time. But then I always remind myself of who I am.
Do NOT compare yourself to others. Admire instead, and remember that you’re such a beautiful person yourself.

When I was off to take some portraits for a CV, at the age of 19, the photographer mentioned that I was very easy to photograph. I easily made a great picture, and he also said I definitely should try out to be applied by an agency. Kind of sweet to say, but as other photographers said the same I decided to apply to an alternative agency, and I was accepted. I couldn’t believe it. I never thought it would be possible for me.

I started off making contact with some photographers nearby and started to build up a portfolio. After some time I had a strong portfolio with lots of good photos. That’s when I launched the official Eleine facebook page and started to spread the word and pictures. It went really well! I remember that very early on, this amazing woman who runs Gothic and Amazing, Sil Costa wrote me. This woman is one of my guardian angels. Still to this day haven’t had the opportunity to met her in real life, but we chat often and since the start she has believed in me. I couldn’t have had a better start in my career, I’m forever grateful to her.
